For Clean Out For Kids, a non-profit program designed to raise funds for Share Our Strength through yards sales, I designed the logo, using playful colors and a tag to connect the program to the sales element involved in hosting a yard sale. With the theme of the sale in mind, I designed a large folded poster to grab the attention of the sales-goers, that revealed step-by-step information about the program on the reverse side. I also designed, downloadable sheets participants could use for the event, as well as stickers, assorted envelopes, additional posters and a welcome letter. Two advertorials captured the essence of the program by showcasing the children the fundraising efforts were being contributed to. A PowerPoint presentation was also designed to reflect the positive spirit of the event. A yard sale that BHG hosted in Des Moines raised over $27,000 for the charity. The design won a Graphic Design USA award for Best American Inhouse Design in the Public Service Category.
